[00:01:11] Musical career：1980s–1997

[00:01:20] In the late '80s, André frequented club Tarm Center in Bochum

[00:01:29] on the weekends to listen to the music of DJ Thomas Kukula

[00:01:38] (better known as the General Base).

[00:01:43] In 1992, he decided to try music composition himself.

[00:01:47] His equipment consisted of an Amiga computer and a small synthesizer.

[00:01:56] Thomas offered to let André use his recording studio to finish the song.

[00:02:04] In the studio, André used his first professional synthesizer

[00:02:12] Sequential Pro One, which he decided to name his first project after.

[00:02:20] Tanneberger started his music career with the dance music group Sequential One.

[00:02:27] In February 1993, Sequential One released their debut single "Let Me Hear You",

[00:02:35] followed by "Dance"/"Raving". Singles brought them small financial benefits;

[00:02:42] André gained the opportunity to organize a mini-studio. In 1994

[00:02:58] the band increased by three members: Ulrich Poppelbaum,

[00:03:06] Woody van Eyden and vocalist Morpha. In early 1995 the House Nation label

[00:03:14] released the group's first album, Dance.

[00:03:22] After the great success in his native Germany, Sequential One gradually became

[00:03:31] known in other countries of Europe. The second album,

[00:03:40] Energy apart from Germany, was also released in the Netherlands,

[00:03:49] Austria, Switzerland and Hungary. Despite the success and growing popularity,

[00:03:57] two members of the project—Woody van Eyden and Morpha—still left in 1998.

[00:04:06] Only André and Ullrich were still left in the group. In 1999 Sequential One

[00:04:15] ceased to exist. Shortly before the collapse, André managed to release

[00:04:19] the last single "Angels" and the compilation album Decades.
