[00:00:23] I got to Nashville OK

[00:00:25] I thought I'd better write and let you know

[00:00:27] Cause I knew you'd be worried about me

[00:00:30] And I don't let you know to worried about me

[00:00:31] Cause I'm gonna be alright

[00:00:33] Once I get settled and used to bein' away from home

[00:00:36] I didn't realize how much I loved you

[00:00:39] And all them noisy kids until I left

[00:00:42] And I didn't reaize how hard it was to eave home eiter

[00:00:45] Till I started to leave and everybody started cryin' includin' me

[00:00:50] I cried almost all the way to Nashville

[00:00:53] And I wanted to turn around a few times and come back

[00:00:56] But you know how bad I've always wanted to go to Nashville

[00:00:59] And be a singer and songwriter

[00:01:01] And I believe that if I try long enough

[00:01:03] And hard enough that someday I'll make it

[00:01:06] Don't worry about tryin' to send me any money or anything

[00:01:09] Cause I've got a job singin' on the early morning television show

[00:01:12] Here called the Eddie Hill Show

[00:01:14] And a couple of folks already told me

[00:01:16] That they might record a couple of my songs

[00:01:18] So I'll be makin' enough money to get by

[00:01:20] And I don't want you to worryin' about me bein' hungry or anything

[00:01:25] Nashville's not exactly what I thought it was gonna be

[00:01:28] But I believe I'm gonna like it here once I get used to it

[00:01:32] And I don't want you to worryin' about me gettin' in trouble either

[00:01:35] Cause I'll be good just like I promised you I would when I left

[00:01:39] Well can't think of anything else to say

[00:01:42] I guess I'd better close for now

[00:01:44] And you write me real soon
