[00:00:49] Because it is told not only with words

[00:00:53] But also with music

[00:00:55] So first I want you to meet the symphony orchestra

[00:01:03] How do you do

[00:01:05] Shake hands with the trombone

[00:01:07] And the tuba

[00:01:08] And the oboe

[00:01:10] And the saxaphone sousaphone zither and xylophone

[00:01:12] Clarinet buglehorn fiddle and fuglehorn

[00:01:13] Tinny kazoo and the timpani too

[00:01:15] And the piccollo picollo picollo picollo picollo picollo picollo

[00:01:20] Now some of you children may be very surprised to hear

[00:01:24] That the symphony is not only music

[00:01:27] But that it always tells a story

[00:01:30] Which has a beginning a middle and an end

[00:02:11] Which is naturally the theme of the little fiddle

[00:02:19] Now this little fiddle is a young girl

[00:02:22] Who lives with her wicked guardian

[00:02:24] Which is a french horn

[00:02:31] Now this young girl who is a beautiful girl

[00:02:42] And her wicked guardian live all alone on a farm

[00:02:51] And all she has for company are a hen and a dog

[00:03:07] And a nanny goat

[00:03:15] Now one day when her wicked guardian

[00:03:18] The french horn is upstairs busy washing his coils

[00:03:28] Along came a handsome young trumpet

[00:03:34] When he clasps his eyes on the little

[00:03:37] Fiddle his heart went

[00:03:43] And he gets so excited he has a big cadenza

[00:03:48] Which is a solo passage in triple time

[00:04:12] This brings us to the second movement

[00:04:15] When the little fiddle is happy and the trumpet is happy

[00:04:25] When suddenly out stalks the french horn

[00:04:33] Ehhhhhh

[00:04:34] What's going on here says the french horn

[00:04:37] The little fiddle is so putrified her bridge falls out

[00:04:43] But the trumpet says we love each other

[00:04:51] But the french horn is very objectionable to this marriage

[00:05:45] So he jumps into a kettle drum which is boiling
