[00:03:00] The way was opened up for folks with bravery.

[00:03:00] To win land rights,

[00:03:00] But the West was meant to be;

[00:03:00] It was our Manifest Destiny!

[00:03:00] The trappers, traders, and the peddlers,

[00:03:00] The politicians and the settlers,

[00:03:00] They got there by any way they could (any way they could).

[00:03:00] The Gold Rush trampled down the wilderness,

[00:03:00] The railroads spread across from East to West,

[00:03:00] And soon the rest was opened up for-opened up for good.

[00:03:00] And now we jet from East to West.

[00:03:00] But it took those early folks to open up the way.
