Color My World

[00:00:00] Color My World - Eyedea & Abilities

[00:00:53] I once met a man who trained himself not to dream

[00:00:56] What he seems to have seen was a glimpse of everything

[00:00:59] He's been painting pictures on canvas since age thirteen

[00:01:02] And claims he only exists in the mind of a higher being

[00:01:06] And I enjoy his work; mostly scenic landscapes

[00:01:09] But each one is focused on an easel where the man paints himself painting himself

[00:01:14] And all that's in his visual field

[00:01:16] He said this was the only way he could make himself real

[00:01:19] Ever since he could remember he had one nightmare reoccur

[00:01:22] But until about ten years ago

[00:01:24] It didn't matter

[00:01:25] It consisted of loud

[00:01:27] Distorted sounds echoing off the concrete

[00:01:28] He ran on top of it in attempt to reach a ladder

[00:01:32] Now sometimes

[00:01:33] He'd get so close but never touch his destination

[00:01:35] Which caused him much frustration 'cause he didn't know what it meant

[00:01:39] And by the end of the dream

[00:01:41] He saw the scene from a bird's eye

[00:01:42] Only to witness his dead body laying on the cement

[00:01:45] It was only to witness his dead body laying on the cement

[00:01:49] At first it freaked him out

[00:01:50] But after a while he grew content

[00:01:52] So he thought "It's just a dream "

[00:01:54] And kept living his life

[00:01:55] Writing his soul on the canvas 'cause it sheds his planet light

[00:01:59] And it goes on and on like space and time ain't nothing odd

[00:02:03] It's not that he didn't believe

[00:02:04] He just didn't approve of God

[00:02:05] His experience was one I couldn't comprehend

[00:02:08] 'Till I stopped being detective and listened to him as a friend

[00:02:12] He said

[00:02:12] He once saw a painting that told his whole life story

[00:02:16] It was then that he knew he was the art of divinity

[00:02:19] He once saw a painting that told his whole life story

[00:02:22] A brush stroke of the gods made him one note in their symphony

[00:02:26] He once saw a painting that told his whole life story

[00:02:29] He spoke for himself and not the rest of humanity

[00:02:32] He once saw a painting that told his whole life story

[00:02:36] And I realize that I'm not real

[00:02:37] God just imagined me

[00:03:04] It's like I said

[00:03:05] About ten years ago the event that changed his whole reality

[00:03:08] Took place on his monthly trip to the local art gallery

[00:03:11] It was there where he studied his contemporaries

[00:03:14] And there where he nearly carried his sanity to a hole and buried it forever

[00:03:18] It was a very mysterious day

[00:03:20] The place was almost empty

[00:03:22] And he got chills down his spine just being present in the scene

[00:03:25] On the wall there was a picture that looked familiar

[00:03:27] And when he got close his heart stopped

[00:03:30] Cause he saw it was a painting of his dream

[00:03:32] It was a painting of his dream

[00:03:34] His body on a runway

[00:03:35] By a ladder to an airplane with its propellers spinning

[00:03:38] Which accounted for the loud noise

[00:03:40] The match up was perfect

[00:03:41] And that was the day he stopped believing in existing

[00:03:45] He resented his creator

[00:03:46] I mean words can't explain

[00:03:48] What must have went on in his brain

[00:03:50] While he stared into a frame

[00:03:51] Of a work of art which he created and was at the same time

[00:03:55] The mind can't handle that much it's just insane

[00:03:58] It's like reading a book

[00:03:59] Where each words describe your thoughts

[00:04:01] And in quotations it reads whatever you say when you talk

[00:04:04] You think it can't happen

[00:04:06] But it did happen

[00:04:08] I guess there's surprisingly wide cracks in each life's sidewalk

[00:04:11] He stumbled upon an answer when he never had a question

[00:04:14] And decided to stop dreaming to maintain his mental health

[00:04:17] Now he hardly talks to people

[00:04:19] Just stays in his basement

[00:04:21] Writing infinity by painting himself

[00:04:23] Painting himself

[00:04:24] This is a strange universe

[00:04:26] Is it all just a blueprint

[00:04:28] In the real universe is my consciousness useless

[00:04:31] Are we really something a higher intelligence made up

[00:04:34] A figment of imagination colored by a cosmic paintbrush

[00:04:38] Maybe all of our art creates the fate of other beings

[00:04:41] Then every character in ever novel thinks it's alive and were just gods

[00:04:45] Ruling blindly

[00:04:45] Just a theory

[00:04:47] I don't know what it means

[00:04:48] But that's the story of the man who trained himself not to dream

[00:04:51] He once saw a paining that told his whole life story

[00:04:55] He witnessed the paradox of the word "existing"

[00:04:57] He once saw a painting that told his whole life story

[00:05:01] He colored his world theirs and concluded he wasn't living

[00:05:04] He once saw a painting that told his whole life story

[00:05:08] The hidden variable that all that is is art

[00:05:11] And when I close my eyes I see eternity as a story

[00:05:14] A God imagined the God that imagined me

[00:05:16] And I am God

[00:05:18] And so on

[00:05:20] And so on

[00:05:21] And so on
