[00:01:54] We fought for nine hours fully before the strife was o'er

[00:02:01] The likes of dead and wounded I never saw before

[00:02:08] And when the sun had risen and the Indians they had fled

[00:02:15] We loaded up our rifles and counted up our dead

[00:02:23] And all of us were wounded our noble Captain slain

[00:02:30] The sun was shining sadly across that bloody plain

[00:02:37] Sixteen the brave Rangers that never roamed the west

[00:02:44] Were buried by their comrades with arrows in their breast

[00:02:53] And now my song is ended I guess I've sung enough

[00:02:59] The life of any Ranger you see is very tough
