[00:01:49] My granddad worked the steel mills of central illinois

[00:01:55] His daughter was his jewel

[00:01:58] His son was just his boy

[00:02:01] For thirty years he worked

[00:02:03] The mills and stoked the cokefed fires

[00:02:07] And looked toward the day when he'd at

[00:02:10] Last turn 65 and could retire

[00:02:20] Sons become the fathers

[00:02:23] And their daughters will be wives

[00:02:26] As the torch is passed from hand to hand

[00:02:29] And we struggle through our lives
