[00:01:09] And done rushed the movie

[00:01:12] I got Angie Jeff got Tina

[00:01:14] Ready Rock got some girl I'd never seen in my life

[00:01:17] That was all right because the lady was chill

[00:01:20] Then we dipped to the theater set to

[00:01:22] I'll buggin cold havin a ball

[00:01:25] Somethin about Elm st. was the movie we saw

[00:01:28] The way it started was decent you know nuthin real fancy

[00:01:31] About this homeboy named fred and this girl named nancy

[00:01:34] But word when it was over I said yo that was def

[00:01:37] And everything seemed

[00:01:37] All right when we left

[00:01:40] But when I got home and laid down to sleep

[00:01:42] That began the nightmare, but on my street

[00:01:57] It was burning in my room like an oven

[00:01:59] My bed soaked with sweat

[00:02:01] And man I was bugging

[00:02:02] I checked the clock and it stopped at 12:30

[00:02:05] It had melted it was so darn hot And I was thirsty

[00:02:08] I wanted something cool to quench my thirst

[00:02:11] I thought to myself yo this heat is the worst

[00:02:13] But when I got downstairs

[00:02:14] I noticed something was wrong

[00:02:16] I was home all alone but the tv was on

[00:02:19] I thought nothin off it as I grabbed the remote

[00:02:22] I pushed the power button and then I almost choked

[00:02:24] When I heard this awful voice coming from behind It said,

[00:02:27] "You turned off David Letterman...now you must die!!"

[00:02:30] Man, I ain't even wait to see who it was Broke

[00:02:33] Inside my drawers and screamed, "So long, cuz"

[00:02:36] Got halfway up the block I calmed down and stopped screaming

[00:02:38] Then thought, "Oh, I get it, I must be dreaming"

[00:02:42] I strolled back home with a grin on my grill

[00:02:44] I think that since this is a dream I might as well get ill

[00:02:47] I walked in the house, the Big Bad Fresh Prince

[00:02:50] But Freddy killed all that noise real quick

[00:02:53] He grabbed me by my neck and said

[00:02:55] "Here's what we'll do We gotta lotta work here,

[00:03:04] I said, "Yo Fred I think you got me all wrong

[00:03:15] Fred got mad and his head started steaming

[00:03:18] But I thought what the hell i'm only dreamin

[00:03:32] He got mad, drew back his arm, and slashed my shirt

[00:03:35] I laughed at first, then thought, "hold up,

[00:03:37] That hurt" It wasn't a dream, man, this guy was for real

[00:03:40] I said, "Freddy, uh, pal, there's been an awful mistake here"

[00:03:44] No further words and then I darted upstairs

[00:03:46] Crashed through my door then jumped on my bed

[00:03:49] Pulled the covers up over my head And said,

[00:03:52] "Oh please do something with Fred"

[00:03:55] He jumped on my bed, went through the covers with his claws

[00:03:58] Tried to get me, but my alarm went off And then silence

[00:04:01] It was a whole new day I thought,

[00:04:04] "Huh, I wasn't scared of him anyway"

[00:04:06] Until I noticed those rips in my sheets

[00:04:08] And that was proof that there

[00:04:09] Had been a nightmare on my street
