[00:01:16] But I guess it's mine and mom's now 'cause my daddy's dead

[00:01:21] Dad had a wreck about a month ago

[00:01:24] He was tryin' to get home in a blinding snow

[00:01:27] Mom has to work now to make ends meet

[00:01:30] And I'm not much help with my two crippled feet

[00:01:34] She says not to worry that we'll make it alright

[00:01:38] But I hear her cryin' sometimes late at night

[00:01:41] You know there's one thing I want more than anything else to see

[00:01:46] Oh I know you guys are too busy to bother with me

[00:01:50] But you see my dad used to take me for rides when he was home

[00:01:55] But I guess that's all over now since my daddy's gone

[00:03:09] And as I rounded the corner oh I got one heck of a shock

[00:03:15] 18 wheeler were lined up for three city blocks

[00:03:19] I guess every driver for miles around had caught Teddy Bear's call

[00:03:24] And that little crippled boy was havin' a ball

[00:03:28] For as fast as one driver would carry him in

[00:03:31] Another would carry him to his truck and take off again

[00:03:36] Well you better believe I took my turn rifin' Teddy Bear

[00:03:40] And then carried him back in and put him down in his chair

[00:03:44] And buddy if I never live to see happiness again

[00:03:54] We took up a collection for him before his mama got home

[00:03:59] And each driver said goodbye and then they were all gone
