[00:00:21] Seemed to spell out a greeting as the children flew by

[00:00:25] A guard in a chariot of silver and gold

[00:00:32] Gave the children all tickets then the story he told

[00:00:36] Of a time in the future that was sunshine and flowers

[00:00:43] And the children grew sleepy in the sky's white towers

[00:00:47] They dreamed of the story that the guard had displayed

[00:00:54] They saw all the wonders tiny minds were amazed

[00:00:58] They saw candy forests and dragons that breathed fire

[00:01:05] On all that was evil in the misty mire

[00:01:20] They came to the village where the turtles in caves

[00:01:27] Made pies for the people and the lemonade

[00:01:31] The people lived out by the sea and each day

[00:01:38] The seagulls would wake them as they passed on their way

[00:01:43] The people were kindly they would sing to the sky

[00:01:49] And each bright new morning the sun shone from their eyes

[00:01:54] The children passed over and all the people could see

[00:02:00] As they dived from the sky to the treacle sea

[00:02:05] They bathed on the white sand minutes turned into hours

[00:02:11] And the children all giggled and gave each other flowers

[00:02:27] The king from his castle came down to the sea

[00:02:33] And he spoke to the children so patiently

[00:02:38] He gave them small presents and bid them farewell

[00:02:44] And the children unwrapped them tiny silver bells

[00:02:49] Their tinkling floated across the island with ease

[00:02:56] And it came back toward them on the perfume breeze

[00:03:00] They smiled at the tinkling they gazed at the sun

[00:03:06] And they smiled at each other pretty little ones

[00:03:11] A beautiful white horse came down to the sea

[00:03:18] And the children all climbed up as he knelt on one knee

[00:03:34] They rode through the valleys and high over hills

[00:03:40] And they laughed oh so loudly their fear to kill

[00:03:44] They came to a lakeside of deep velvet and green

[00:03:51] And they all stared in wonder at its beauty serene

[00:03:55] They climbed from the white horse they watch as it goes

[00:04:02] As they stood by the green lake for to kiss their toes

[00:04:06] A boat in the distance was suddenly there

[00:04:13] Waiting to take the children to anywhere

[00:04:18] The porcupine captain said that he didn't mind

[00:04:24] In his coat of black needles he looked very kind

[00:04:40] His crew were six rabbits with fluffy white ears

[00:04:46] And the children all stroked them and lost all their fears

[00:04:51] They sailed through the sunshine across the green lake

[00:04:57] And they drank lemonade and they ate ice cream cake

[00:05:02] They landed in a dark cave as the boat disappeared

[00:05:08] And they all stood in darkness through the shadows they peered

[00:05:13] But out of the blackness shone diamonds so bright

[00:05:19] Their tiny white hands shielded eyes from the light

[00:05:23] In a pool of quicksilver stood Neptune so wise

[00:05:30] And pearls were his white teeth bright diamonds his eyes

[00:05:46] He spoke to the children in a voice of velvet

[00:05:52] And he beckoned them to him in a circle they sat

[00:05:57] He told of sky island and of his magic cave

[00:06:03] And magic pink seashells to the children he gave

[00:06:08] They listened intently as the music came far

[00:06:14] From the magic pink seashells and nobody talked

[00:06:19] But Neptune had vanished when they lifted their eyes

[00:06:25] So they walked from the cave as two kingfishers cried

[00:06:30] In the bright shiny sunlight they got down on one knee

[00:06:37] They listened to the sea shells of the magical sea

[00:06:52] But the day grew much darker so they climbed on the breeze

[00:06:59] And they floated to the village and the people were pleased

[00:07:03] To see them so happy with their tinkling bells

[00:07:09] And the people all listened to the musical shells

[00:07:14] But the children were so sad the time had come to leave

[00:07:21] So the people waved goodbye and begged them to believe

[00:07:25] Of the wonders they had seen in the island of the sky

[00:07:32] And the children said they would and away they did fly

[00:07:36] Through the white clouds of no time till forever it seems

[00:07:43] And the children stayed children and they lived in their dreams
