[00:00:35] And brilliantly lit with a brimstone lamp

[00:00:38] And imps for fuel were shovelling bones

[00:00:41] While the furnace rang with a thousand groans

[00:00:49] The boiler was filled with lager beer

[00:00:52] The devil himself was the engineer

[00:00:56] The passengers were most a motley crew

[00:00:59] Some were foreigners and others he knew

[00:01:02] Rich men in broadcloth beggars in rags

[00:01:05] Handsome young ladies and wicked old hags

[00:01:28] As the train rushed on at a terrible pace

[00:01:32] Sulphuric fumes scorched their hands and face

[00:01:51] Till their clothes were burned
