《第24期人生感悟(4)》歌词

[00:00:00] 第24期人生感悟(4)-英语听力
[00:00:10] Offer Nothing but a Smile
[00:00:13] A smile is a glow on our face.
[00:00:17] It is more powerful than
[00:00:18] a bulb of one thousand watts
[00:00:21] and the warmth it gives can serve us
[00:00:23] more than any electric heater.
[00:00:27] We are not fully dressed
[00:00:29] until we wear a smile on our face.
[00:00:32] A smile has a power of
[00:00:35] liberating one from the loneliness.
[00:00:38] There are many friends
[00:00:39] to receive it and return it abundantly.
[00:00:45] It was a great relief to understand
[00:00:47] the purpose behind offering a flower to god.
[00:00:51] A flower is a symbol of gratitude.
[00:00:54] The blossoming is the indication of
[00:00:57] living life in its full light,
[00:01:00] realizing its totality.
[00:01:04] It indicates the peak of necessity.
[00:01:07] There cannot be a level of being higher than it.
[00:01:11] And the offering is
[00:01:13] the proof of being thankful to god
[00:01:16] for the creation of
[00:01:18] such a tremendously beautiful world.
[00:01:22] A smile is the door to that gratefulness.
[00:01:25] If a flower is offered without a smile,
[00:01:28] it has no meaning;
[00:01:30] it is merely acting but not living.
[00:01:34] However, the acting can be
[00:01:37] a progressive phenomenon
[00:01:39] but the offering without a smile
[00:01:41] can drag us only behind,
[00:01:44] it cannot lead us forward.
[00:01:47] In prayer, the need is the offering of a smile;
[00:01:52] the flower is only an accessory.
[00:01:56] It should be remembered
[00:01:58] that a symbol is only a symbol.
[00:02:01] We can be full of love and life
[00:02:04] when we are even able to offer a smile to the trees,
[00:02:08] to the paths, to the buildings,
[00:02:11] to the sun and to the sky.
[00:02:14] The existence is hungry for our facial expression.
[00:02:18] It is good to satisfy that hunger.
