[00:02:41] Melody and ideas for this song

[00:02:42] In math class in my freshman year

[00:02:44] Of high school

[00:02:45] Now I feel old

[00:02:48] And um I was sitting there and was kind

[00:02:50] Of started singing it to myself

[00:02:51] And you know

[00:02:52] I was going through a period where

[00:02:54] I was dating this guy that was going

[00:02:56] Off to college and I knew we were gonna break up

[00:02:58] So I started to think about all the things that

[00:03:00] I knew would remind him of me

[00:03:01] And it's like kinda a given one of

[00:03:04] All my friends ya know

[00:03:05] That my favorite songs are

[00:03:07] Tim McGraw songs they just are

[00:03:10] Aww thank you

[00:03:11] And uh you know so I kinda just thought

[00:03:13] About that first and so it pointed to

[00:03:16] The song and just sat down at that piano

[00:03:17] And wrote it with this co writer who was

[00:03:20] Kinda wondering if I was crazy or not but

[00:03:22] It turned out alright and ya know

[00:03:24] The funny thing is that

[00:03:25] I shelved this song for like three

[00:03:26] Months and never never even played it for anybody

[00:03:29] Never even demoed it

[00:03:30] And uh then one time

[00:03:32] I was just goofing around and played

[00:03:34] It for my record label president and he goes

[00:03:36] Well that's your first single

[00:03:39] And I'm like well

[00:03:40] Well you can write songs about me anytime Taylor
