[00:02:22] And hid in the shelters underground

[00:02:25] Until the Soviets turned their ships around

[00:02:29] Tore the Cuban missiles down

[00:02:32] And in that bright October sun

[00:02:36] We knew our childhood days were done

[00:02:39] And I watched my friends go off to war

[00:02:43] What do they keep on fighting for

[00:02:46] So my child and I came to this place

[00:02:55] To meet him eye to eye and face to face

[00:03:02] He made my daughter laugh then we embraced

[00:03:08] We never knew what friends we had until we came to Leningrad
