[00:01:29] The first day I got me a fuel pump

[00:01:31] And the next day I got me an engine and a trunk

[00:01:34] Then I got me a transmission and all the chrome

[00:01:41] Like nuts and bolts and all 4 shocks

[00:01:43] But the big stuff we snuck out my buddy's mobile home

[00:01:48] Now up to now my plan went alright

[00:01:51] 'Til we tried to put it all together one night

[00:01:53] And that's when we noticed that somethin' was definitly wrong

[00:01:58] The transmission was a '53 and

[00:02:00] The motor turned out to be a '73 and

[00:02:03] When we tried to put in the bolts all the holes were gone

[00:02:08] So we drilled it out so that it would fit and

[00:02:10] With a little help from an adapter kit

[00:02:13] We had that engine runnin' just like a song

[00:02:17] Now the headlights they was another sight

[00:02:19] We had 2 on the left and 1 on the right

[00:02:22] But when we pulled out the

[00:02:23] Switch all 3 of 'em come on

[00:02:27] The back end looked kinda funny too

[00:02:29] But we put it together and

[00:02:31] When we got through

[00:02:32] Well that's when we noticed

[00:02:33] That we only had 1 tail fin

[00:02:37] About that time my wife walked out and

[00:02:39] I could see in her eyes that she had her doubts

[00:02:41] But she opened the door and said

[00:02:43] "Honey take me for a spin"

[00:02:46] So we drove uptown just to get the tags and

[00:02:48] I headed her right on down main drag

[00:02:51] I could hear everybody laughin' for blocks around

[00:02:56] But up there at the court house they didn't laugh

[00:02:58] Cuz to type it up it took the whole staff and

[00:03:01] When they got through the title

[00:03:02] Weighed 60 pounds

[00:03:05] I'd got it one piece at a time
